Dr Lisa ORourke MBBS DCH FRACGP

Director

Medical Learning Journeys was founded by a General Practitioner with 25 years of experience, Dr Lisa ORourke. She has worked as a rural GP in the past, including hospital and solo Emergency Department work. Lisa has previously been a practice owner and is now enjoying work in a private GP clinic in Western Australia . Her motivation to provide quality education in beautiful settings is born from a passion to support peer wellbeing and development in a challenging time for General Practice. Lisa discovered Hamilton island 20 years ago, on a honeymoon sailing trip and has been coming back ever since.

Michelle Watson

Chief Event coordinator

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Marketing and Tourism. With a strong background in event management. Michelle is driven by a passion for education. She is a motivated organised and bubbly personality who is always willing to help with a smile. She handles all the details and deals with sponsors. Taleah Kadi

Writer/Editor/Videographer

Teah graduated from WA screen academy with a degree in Media specialising in Editing and Cinematography. She is also a talented comedic screenwriter and keeps us laughing with her dry sense of humour. Taleah maintains the website, designs sales and marketing products / graphic design and handles all Av technicalities including filming talks and photography of the fun activities on the conference. She keeps the socials up to date. She is a multitalented multitasker. Please let us know if you don’t want to feature on our socials or website.

Chris Donnegan

Chris is the guy to call when switching things off and on doesn’t work! He is in the background making sure all things technical work smoothly. He runs his own IT Support company supporting businesses of all varieties, including medical practices, keeping them running efficiently and securely.
